Area Description

Benson itself is a town of approximately 5000 people. Surrounding communities that rely on Benson are St. David, Pomerene, J-6/Mescal, and Willow Lakes. Including the surrounding communities, the population goes up to around 10,000.

There is a new development/community that is in the process of being planned, with ground breaking scheduled in 2016. The Villages at Vigneto will offer an active 50's environment, and supporting infrastructure to go with it. There will be approximately 28,000 roof tops built over the course of a 20 year period. Besides just roof tops, the entire area is a master planned community, with small shops, court yard, entertainment areas, welcome center, grapes, fruit trees, golf cart friendly, and environmentally friendly assets built into the plan. It will be styled after an Italian village, with the active retired in mind.

Benson is in the top 1% in the United States for desirable location to live. We have moderate weather, no problems with earthquakes, volcanoes, massive bugs, blizzards, hurricanes, or a lot of the undesirable weather and terrain related problems other areas experience. Benson has already been a desirable retirement community for a few decades now.

We have access to medical facilities, helicopter, ambulance, and close to Tucson.

Includes Cities/Towns: Benson, Pomerene, Saint David.
