As well as our state of the art hospital in Coeur d'Alene. Surrounded by nature and friendly people there is no better place to retire. Hayden is the small town north of Coeur d'Alene where you can relax by a quiet lake.

   The Hayden and Coeur d'Alene area is the perfect mix that lets you do pretty much any activity! Nature is a major draw to our area and most of the community loves the outdoors, with state and national parks nearby we can accommodate anything outdoors. Our downtown is growing with shopping as well as a state of the art movie theater. With a multitude of lakes summers are always busy spent on the water. We have a community college, North Idaho College, for those that want to continue their education.

For cultural arts we have a thriving community. Big acts are in Spokane but we have great live concerts as well as a growing community theater.

Public transportation




The closest major airport is Spokane International Airport, which is a 45 minute drive from our region. We have a bus system as well as taxis and rental cars.

Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene is our main medical center that provides health care to the entire region.
