Macon Bibb-County is a centrally located city in the heart of Georgia. We are known for wide streets, many parks, and successful urban revitalization. With a city and county population of around 150,000, the region is populated enough to feel like an urban center, but small enough to have that rural, small town feeling. Because of our location, we are not too far from other parts of Georgia. It's only 2 hours to the mountains north of us and 2.5 hours to the coast, not to mention our proximity to Atlanta, the capital of GA, which houses Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
