The population of Muskegon County is 170 thousand. We have Urban community that is growing more everyday.
Suburban is in many parts of Muskegon and on the outside part of Muskegon county you will find rural properties and land with the house. There are two colleges in Muskegon County and we live on Lake Michigan with many inland lakes as well. Our downtown business center continues to grow every year with more businesses, housing and in population.

   We have many parks in Muskegon county for your green space. We have bike, walking and hiking trails. There are great lakes for boating or you can hire a charter service to take you on the water. We have fishing,hunting, golfing, bowling, cinemas, sporting events like pickleball and tennis to name a few. You can also take in a hockey game, baseball, football, basketball game. There are free outdoor summer concerts, and indoor plays and concerts. We have many museums also.

Muskegon serves the county through concerts and theater. There are many libraries with wonderful low to no cost events.

Our busing system is MATS. local bus that reaches every part of our county. Greyhound Bus Company also is housed in our local busing office which will take you to your final destination.

Muskegon is wonderful to enjoy all 4 seasons! Winter can be from Nov. - April. Spring April - June, Summer June - September and Fall September - November. We have very little natural disasters to worry about. We may have a thunderstorm in fall or spring and a snow storm in winter, but nothing you will lose your property from.
