We are also thirty minutes from Starkville, Mississippi with SEC sports.Our community boast a healthy and beautiful downtown with unique shops and fine dinning.We have a quality school system and good health care. There is an abundance of housing priced well below the national average.We sit next to a national forest with hiking,boating,hunting,camping and bird watching.We boast the ancestral home of the Choctaw Indians that still preserve their burial mound and cave.

   We boost a wide variety of things to do outdoors and indoors. We have a beautiful State Park with walking trails, bird watching, fishing, primitive camping as well as cabins and beautiful camper site with pads. We have the most retail/gift shops per capita as anyone in the state. We have many visitors that come to Louisville, MS to deer hunt.

We have one of the best Fire Museums in the state and is maintained with a high level of pride. We have a wide variety of artist including pottery, water and oil artist, basket weavers, quilters, annual concerts at our local historic theater by Nashville Hall of Fame artist.
