Retirement Living In La Crosse - Wisconsin

Area Description

We are the largest city in what is called the Driftless Region -- i.e. the place the glaciers skipped. Located along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin, our beautiful, almost mountainous bluffs roll for miles around the river, having been formed by water, not the scraping glacier years ago that formed the rest of the tri-state area.

We are a city with a small town feel -- a quaint, vibrant downtown teaming with workers, tourists and local shoppers. Farmers markets abound, providing scrumptious fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods and local artistry. Our ample quantity of global companies mix with our unique local shops to provide a vibrant, economically diverse community. Welcome!

Includes Cities/Towns: Holmen, La Crosse, Onalaska.
