In MetroWest, we don’t always mean business! We balance our high tech with low stress, and that means that when we’re not working, we’re walking, crafting, biking, kayaking, relaxing, and maybe just goofing around. In fact, visitors to major nearby cities find MetroWest the quickest, easiest destination for unwinding.
Miles of trails and gardens, five state parks, three major rivers, and two wildlife sanctuaries satisfy outdoor enthusiasts. On rainy days, try upscale bowling, ice or roller skating, laser tag, and even indoor mini-golf. Every April, the Boston Marathon attracts tens of thousands of runners to the picturesque starting line in the MetroWest. But even given all those opportunities, the biggest sport in our region is SHOPPING! The Natick Mall, just 20 minutes from Boston, is New England's largest enclosed mall, and offers retailers unavailable anywhere else in New England, including a flagship American Girl store. MetroWest is also near the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets with 170 outlet stores found nowhere else in New England.

Historic homes dating to the Salem witch trials are within blocks of the Space-Age McAuliffe Challenger Center. Botanic gardens feature the oldest species of native plants; concert halls showcase the newest musicians. Art and artifacts are our treasures: from sculpture parks to stamp exhibits, from bluegrass festivals to battlefield re-enactments, from watercolor classes to World War II’s rarest memorabilia, from Russian icons to recycled objects d’art. Plan to stay in Metrowest and put our past in your future.
