Smith County is located at the base of the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee and is geographically blessed with some of the most scenic vistas to be found in Tennessee. A comfortable drive from Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga, the county hosts a panoramic view of the Cumberland River from the historic Cordell Hull Bridge.
