Central PA has cold winters with moderate snowfall amounts. Spring in PA tends to be cold and rainy in March and April. May brings much better weather with mild temperatures and a lot more sunshine. Summer in central PA is very pleasant, with many days that are warm without being uncomfortably hot. Autumn is generally delightful especially in the early months. September and October bring lots of perfect sunny days and mild temperatures, with beautiful fall foliage. Leaves turn brilliant colors in October.
