Ennis, Montana is the Fly Fishing Capital of the World. It is located right by the Madison River and is known for the beautiful outdoors. It is a rural town of about 800 people but the population quadruples in the summer. There are always events and it is a great community to partake in.

Ennis Montana has many amenities for all ages. There is fine dining, shopping, fishing, tennis courts, golf course, and so much more. The outdoors is all over the valley, too. Just outside of Yellowstone National Park, there are many lakes, mountains, and valleys for everyone to enjoy. There are over 15 different campsites near Ennis and hiking/biking trails to explore. Annually, there is a Brew and Spirit Festival, 4th of July Rodeo Parade and NRA Rodeo, Art Festival, Fishing Derbys, Fly Fishing and Outdoor Festival, Hunter's Feed and an Old Fashion Christmas Stroll. Starting next year, Ennis will be hosting a series of symphony concerts held during the summer. There are also many bands that play in different facilities for live entertainment. Just 15 minutes away is the National Historic Landmark, Virginia City and Nevada City. You step back in time 100 years ago in this small mining town. There is always something to do in our small community.

The art community is thriving in Ennis, Montana. There are five art galleries, tthree of which are world renowned. There are antiques shops, Madison Valley museum, quilt shows, farmer's market, and so much more. There are two live theatrea's in Virginia City, Virginia City Players and Brewery Follies. Both are great for entertaining and new shows through out the summer.

There is a Senior Center bus that transports pedestrians to Bozeman, Montana. Ennis is located 45 minutes away from the Yellowstone International Airport. There are also shuttle services across the valley.

There are many opportunities for volunteerism in the Ennis community. Two organizations known in the valley are the Ennis Lions Club and Women's Club. Through out the summer and winter, you can always volunteer at the School or at the Ennis Chamber of Commerce events.
