Area Description

Seeley Lake is a wonderful small town placed in the valley between the Bob Marshall and Mission Mountain Wildernesses. The valley floor is home to many native species; whitetail and mule deer, elk, moose, Black and Grizzly bears, coyote, fox, wolf, skunk, porcupines and more. Fishing for trout, pike, bass, kokanee and sunfish is plentiful.

   We are an outside recreation area with hunting, fishing, camping, boating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, running, horse back riding, swimming, golfing and on and on.

In the summer we are very sunny with little allergens or pollution unless wildfires are in the area or blow in. In the winter we are amazingly clear unless we are receiving snow. We do not experience those long days of gray that so many area have.
